The Esquimalt Men's Shed is a non-profit, non-commercial community-based organization. Our purpose is to improve the mental and physical well-being of the men in our area through the provision of a healthy social and physical environment where men can meet, cooperate on projects that benefit the local community and explore new interests.

We meet in the Esquimalt Neighbourhood House each Thursday, alternating between 1-3 PM. and 7-9 PM. Please check the Events calendar for the time for each date.
You will always find good company. Sometimes, you can even find coffee, tea, and snacks!

John, Doug and Robert at Rainbow Kitchen garden, taken in May. They spent a couple of hours weeding the garden beds and helping to get rid of invasive plants.
We recently had a visit from BC Men’s Shed President Jan Fennema. Doug McLeod, John McWilliams, Mark Pocock, and Michael Bosela showed him the new Mutual Aid community pantry.

Non-Perishable Goods Donation
We have received a request to create a number of non-perishable food mini-pantries that are similar to the small community libraries found around the city.
We have finally finished the construction of the Esquimalt Mutual Aid Society community pantry. It's full and ready to go!
